Millionaire Bruce McMahan loved his daughter so much, he married her.
A secret sexual relationship with his daughter was not enough.
There had to be a wedding.
And it had to be a grand celebration befitting a Fisher Island, Florida, multimillionaire who controls billions from Wall Street to Bermuda, from London to Dubai.
So on a sunny June day two years ago, father and daughter exchanged rings at Westminster Abbey.
They couldn't follow convention by inviting friends or family, and they couldn't make an announcement that they'd eloped.
There was no white dress and no officiant.
D. Bruce McMahan, then 65, and his daughter Linda Marie Hodge McMahan Schutt, then 35, pronounced themselves husband and wife on June 23, 2004.
It was their secret.
Except for a few traditional photographs, it was a wholly unconventional and unholy union.

Stairways to Heaven
Here are 101 versions of the song that doesn't remain the same, depending on whether it's the the Australian music hall version, the Gilligan's Island version, the backwards version, the backwards splice-and-dice quarter note version, the glass harmonica version, the Doors version, the reggae version and on and on (all MP3s). Much of this came from former FMU DJ KBC's CD of the same name, which took much of it's content from this 1992 LP.

Lesbians have more orgasms
Women having lesbian sex are more likely to reach orgasm than those embarking on straight sex, according to a survey published today.
Researchers found that 76 per cent of women who slept with another woman reached orgasm, compared to only 69 per cent who slept with men.
The survey's findings appeared in the Journal of Sex Research.
The research was carried out in Australia, where 19,000 people took part. Researchers claimed that the reason behind the findings was that men were selfish and concentrated mostly on themselves.
Three quarters of women questioned by the three universities to carry out the research admitted their most recent sexual activity involved some form of 'manual stimulation'.

Parents jailed for pimping teenage daughter
The mother and father who were charged last week with prostituting their 14-year-old daughter, pleaded guilty in the Kimberley magistrate's court last Friday, and will spend the next five years in prison.
The magistrate hearing the case said he had no words to describe the actions the convicted couple had taken.
"I am shocked. I cannot believe that parents could do such a thing to their child," he said as he sentenced the couple to an effective five-year sentence with an additional two-year suspended sentence.
The daughter, now 16 and pregnant, and her 10-year-old brother are being housed at a local childrens' home.
The department of social services and population development reacted to the case on Monday by applauding the sentences handed down to the parents.

DMX cries rape over lovechild scandal

Monique Wayne forced the rap star, real name Earl Simmons, to take a paternity test in her bid to prove he fathered her son in 2004 and DMX has since acknowledged he is the kid's dad.
But, in a new interview with urban magazine Sister 2 Sister, DMX insists Wayne took advantage of him while he was sleeping after a long video shoot and he has no recollection of having sex with her.
He says, "She raped me... That might sound like some bulls**t... (but) is that the only thing in the world that's not possible? Because when I sleep, my man (penis) be out.

Homes have more TVs than people
The average American home now has more television sets than people.
That threshold was crossed within the past two years, according to Nielsen Media Research. There are 2.73 TV sets in the typical home and 2.55 people, the researchers said.
With televisions now on buses, elevators and in airport lobbies, that development may have as much to do with TV's ubiquity as an appliance as it does conspicuous consumption. The popularity of flat-screen TVs now make it easy to put sets where they haven't been before.
Rick Melen, a facilities manager, has three sets in the Somers, New York, home he shares with his wife. That doesn't count the bathroom set that broke down and hasn't been replaced or the speakers installed near their hot tub, allowing them to watch a wide screen set through a window.
"It's really just a matter of where your living takes place, what rooms you tend to spend your time in," Melen said on Thursday. "Other appliances you can move from room to room but if you have cable, you can't move a television."

Naked Man Decapitated When He Runs Into Traffic
A man who was decapitated when he ran naked into traffic was identified Wednesday as a 29-year-old Santa Ana man, authorities said.
Omar Flores was struck and killed about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when he ran, without clothing, westbound on Chapman Avenue toward Haster Street into oncoming eastbound traffic, Garden Grove police Lt. Travis Whitman said.
Neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be a factor in the cause of the collision, Whitman said, adding that the driver stopped at the scene.
An autopsy will be performed Wednesday to establish the cause of Flores' death. But whether there was any substance in his system that led to his behavior won't be known until toxicological reports come back in about six
weeks, according to the coroner's office.
Man in thong leaves behind video of burglary attempt
A Kentucky man wearing only a thong and carrying a knife is accused of videotaping himself attempting a burglary, then leaving the tape behind, police said.
Helped by the tape, police arrested Rodney McMillen, 36, of Covington, over the weekend and charged him with burglary, Police Chief Steve Hensley said. He was found at his mother's home in Norwood, Ohio, Hensley said.
McMillen is accused of breaking into a woman's apartment on Sept. 20, clad in only thong underwear and carrying a knife, Hensley said. The woman fended off the attacker, who left the apartment and fled into a stand of trees near the apartment complex, Hensley said.
Investigating officers found a video camera the burglar left in the apartment and found video of McMillen's family on the end of the tape, Hensley said.
Investigators were able to identify some of them and tracked down McMillen at his mother's house, Hensley said.
McMillen was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati on $50,000 bond, awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
